1. Restart your device
- Restart Windows.
- Launch the ExpressVPN app.

2. Perform a Winsock reset
On your Windows device:
- Click Start > All Programs > Accessories.
- Open Command Prompt:
- For Windows Vista or above, right-click Command Prompt and click Run as Administrator.
- For Windows XP, click Command Prompt.
- In the Command Prompt, enter the following commands:
netsh int ip reset logfile.txt
netsh winsock reset catalog
- Restart Windows.
- Launch the ExpressVPN app.

3. Restart DHCP Services
On your Windows device:
- Click Start > Run (or press Window Key + R).
- Enter
services.msc
- Click OK.
- On the Services list, double-click DHCP Client.
- Set Startup Type to Automatic.
- If the Service status shows Stopped, click Start.
- If the Service status shows Started, click Stop > Start.
- Close the window.
- Launch the ExpressVPN app.
- Connect to a VPN server location.
